"What are we going to do today, grandma?" Miss T asks when I pick her up from school.

The answer is rarely a video or the iPad. Since I see her after school just once a week, I try to have ready some intriguing activity that we can do together.

Miss T and her little brother, Master N, are my two grandchildren, and I have spent six years as a grandmother, thinking up ways to entertain and educate them. This blog is a way to share some tried-and-tested activities that we have enjoyed. I hope you will contribute your ideas here, too.
